POSITION SUMMARY:                                  

The Product Marketing Manager partners with key customers, field teams, and product leadership to shape roadmaps, anticipate industry trends, and expand market share. This high-impact role blends strategy and execution, with direct accountability for growth in your markets. 

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Lead customer engagement through Total Relationship Management (TRM) and roadmap discussions
  • Analyze market segments, trends, and emerging technologies by engaging industry technologists to define market share targets and lead strategies
  • Develop clear product positioning, value propositions, and differentiation with Product Management
  • Align market strategies with corporate objectives in partnership with Marketing and Engineering leaders
  • Translate market needs into product and technology roadmap priorities with cross-functional teams
  • Conduct competitive analysis (share, positioning, strengths/weaknesses, strategies)
  • Shape annual strategic plans, including market sizing, growth forecasts, and inflection points

 

EXPERIENCE:                                              

Essential:

  • 10+ years in a technical marketing or sales position in the semiconductor industry

 

Desirable:

  • Experience in semi equipment manufacturers in a marketing, key account technologist, or field manager role/capacity.

 

EDUCATION:                                                                                    

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, material sciences or plasma physics
  • Master’s degree in engineering, MBA or similar preferred

 

COMPENSATION:                           

As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $140,000 to $180,000 per year.
