Product Marketing Manager - Any ADM US location

Job Duties:
The Product Marketing Manager Flavors will be responsible for marketing strategy and execution for ADM Flavors platform(s) in North America.  The candidate will oversee and drive marketing impact to accelerate the growth of the Flavors portfolio ranging from citrus to sweet brown and many other flavors types across different regions for the food, beverages and health and wellness spaces as well as the animal nutrition industry.  The candidate with work closely with the Flavors platform leads, R&D, Product Development, Sales and Strategic Customers, the global marketing communications and market insights teams.
The candidate will work with cross-functional teams to identify and respond to consumer needs, market gaps and customer opportunities.  Analyze and evaluate the competitive landscape to make business recommendations to senior leadership.  Provide sales support through targeted presentations, product demonstrations and customer experiences.  Create value propositions to drive stakeholder engagement and value.  Recommend new strategies to drive revenue.  Identify connections between consumer trends and ADM technologies, capabilities and products to drive global platform growth.

Main Responsibilities
  • You will own the ADM Flavors portfolio and lead the strategic marketing planning process and execution of business goals and priorities, translated into Marketing Strategies and Initiatives to drive business growth.
  • You will support the long term strategic planning development process and implementation of action plans and lead the implementation of annual Flavor Marketing Plans to support ADM’s growth with focus on Product, Market segments and Channel expansion.
  • Spearhead commercialization process with cross-functional team members from idea to market, acting as the thought leader behind product launch and go-to-market strategy and plan execution.
  • You will deliver strategic understanding of flavor market trends, competitive landscape, customer needs, and product lifecycles and their implications to designing strategies and initiatives to drive growth.
  • Act as a thought leader and product category expert both internally and externally for ADM Flavors by developing deep knowledge of product technical features and benefits, as well as portfolio lifecycle and the ability to recommend new strategies to grow revenues overtime.
  • You will measure and manage key performance indicators for Marketing contributions (customer acquisition, conversion rates, engagement rates, satisfaction, brand preference).
  • You will manage ADM global branding for specific flavor platforms and work closely with the global branding and communication teams and secure full alignment.
  • You will be working closely with product development / technical teams to provide marketing input and support for new product development and R&D strategies.
  • You will provide support to global and regional strategic customers and sales via targeted presentations/sessions as well as joint innovation initiatives.
  • You will develop creative briefs for campaigns and create sales enablement materials for effective selling tools (Sell sheets, Presentations, Virtual and physical marketing materials)
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing
  • Minimum of 5-7 years related portfolio strategy and marketing or brand management experience in Food & Beverage or the Ingredients Industry, ideally experience in working with flavors (citrus, hops extracts and flavors, fruit flavors, coffee and tea flavors, dairy flavors, sweet brown flavors, flavors for beverages, alcoholic beverages and sweet goods).
  • Proven success in B2B marketing, working in matrixed environments, with a strong track record of developing product portfolios to drive brand/business pipeline growth.
  • Experience in managing agency collaboration
  • Analytical skills identifying consumer needs, market gaps, and customer opportunities
  • Experience in leading teams that are functionally and geographically diverse
  • Strong oral, written, verbal and formal presentation skills in creating value propositions, presentations and sales materials and conducting internal training and project management
  • Sharp leadership skills demonstrated by multi-disciplinary collaboration and project management competencies working cross-functionally.
  • Demonstrate ability to lead a cross-functional team and to interact, partner with and influence stakeholders at all levels
  • Professional demeanor with great interpersonal skills.
  • Strong executional excellence with a highly collaborative mindset to drive shared results.
  • Very good knowledge of English; confident handling of MS-Office.
  • You are enthusiastic about food, beverage, healthy nutrition and food trends.
  • You feel comfortable in a dynamic, international environment and are open to change.
  • You are a committed and customer-oriented team player for whom a proactive, goal-oriented way of working is a matter of course.

Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours.
